Dr Orna McGinn

Orna trained in the UK & completed GP training, before moving to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2011.  Women’s health, research and medical education are her passions and she is currently able to combine them in her role of Primary Care Women’s Health Clinical Fellow at the University of Auckland.

She has held a variety of senior clinical and leadership roles including Clinical Director of East Health Primary Health Organisation in Auckland and Clinical Director, Primary Care Women's Health at Auckland District Health Board.

Working collaboratively, her aim is always to see the bigger picture and bring people and ideas together to ‘make things work better’. She is on the Clinical Advisory Committee of Endometriosis NZ and is the current chair of the New Zealand Women in Medicine Charitable Trust.
