Ian is a lifetime entrepreneur, business person and philanthropist. Initially trained as an accountant, Ian pioneered tax pooling in Aotearoa by setting up Tax Management New Zealand (TMNZ) in 2003. Since then, Ian has supported other entrepreneurs and business people. As philanthropists, Ian and his wife Wendy have supported numerous environmental and social causes for over a decade.

Through founding PHI, Ian is keen to see many more young New Zealanders trained as GPs and to realise a world class primary health system in Aotearoa New Zealand.
